If you didn’t get a chance to witness Barack Obama give his concession speech in New Hampshire you can view it here. If you watch it and are not inspired and moved then I would submit that political partisanship and pride cloud your vision and if you open your eyes a bit and recognize that this man embodies everything that this great nation is about.
I am traditionally a right leaning individual but in the years since 9/11 I’ve slowly but surely, inched my way further towards the middle and I now find myself on the left side of the isle. I’m one of many republicans who have grown so tired of ‘good ole boy’ politics and partisan debates that we must look outside of our party for leadership that inspires hope for a better tomorrow.
This inspiration is not limited to everyday joe’s like myself. This past week has show the release of a powerful music video produced by Will.i.am and Mike Jurkovac and directed by Jesse Dylan that was inspired by the New Hampshire concession speech that Obama delivered. Even in defeat he shows those who are willing to listen that the America we know today, hated around the world, is not the only way.
Give it a listen.
It just might change your position… It just might change your mind…
